Summer Solstice 2016
A lily from my garden from the plant I transplanted from our previous home 14 years ago.
Here is my great grandson Calvin 2 months old already!
And my cute great granddaughter a year and a half old who lives in Texas-too far away!
We went to a Kirtan led by Johanna Beekman from Oregon, at "Yoga at Connie's" held in her yoga barn out on the windy prairie! This is a group of us who bought her tshirts. Johanna is in the front row on the left. Her father played percussion, and I recognized him from Kitzie Stern's you tube video of their band in Corvalis, OR. It's a small world!

Copying a recipe from Youtube- oops! It's 9:30, time to get ready.
7 degrees outside, time for leggings!
Ready!

Attending my uncle Harry's funeral at First Presbyterian Church- Leroy, Il
My childhood church, first time in about 45 years. Singing a hymn, remembering my grandmother's voice. Wynters Staley playing the organ. Phyllis Bruce (who was there today) and Rosie Owens teachers in Sunday School rooms in "dungeon". Funeral dinner was in basement, recalling Vacation Bible School when 8th grade girls made the Kool Aid.
