Picnic Lunch beside friend's goldfish pond, after a walk in her woods.

Here are the fish.

Her bird feeders. T spotted a yellow-billed cuckoo in the tree behind the pond. Perfect weather, 70's and partly sunny.

Went for an evening walk and saw that the pair of mallards have set up housekeeping at their usual spot in a small pond near the trail. Here is "Donald" and "Daisy" was near by. (I also got my first mosquito bite of the season-dang those things!)

Biggest Week in Birding

May 6-10, 2014 Trip to Ohio
Decided to go to the Biggest Week in American Birding festival on the shore of Lake Erie on Monday, left on Tuesday. Very glad we came, it's so fun!
